i need a decent concealer to hide my dark circles. At the moment i'm using No7 concealer from boots which is ok but you can still see them only clears them slightly. Rimmel and Maybelline did not cover them for me.
I live in the UK so i need UK products not any other countries ones. I don't care about the cost cos to me if it works its worth every single penny

YSL Touche Eclat.
It's available at www.powderpuff.net at a really reasonable price.

I strongly recommend maybelline dream matt mouse i know you said it doesn't work but this really covers my red patches. I also use a liquid foundation as a base and this works really well and covers up the blemishes on my face.

Using a base makes it easier to apply your normal foundation and hides any redness, blemishes or spots you may have.
First of all exfoliate your face once or twice a week to get rid of the dead skin cells. On the other days use a face wash or a moisturising soap to stop your skin from drying out. If you have dry skin on your face the foundation will not reach its maximum potential.

Make sure you buy the correct base and matt mousse to match your skin tone. A good foundation will blend into your jaw line.

First of all apply a skin moisturiser as this will make it easier to rub your base foundation in. Try using Nivea creme its very good, i also recommend this. Next apply your main foundation and add a light blusher to the apples of your cheeks. Smiling when you do this will make it easier.

Shopping list:

Maybeline Dream matt mouse - From Boots
Liquid foundation - boots or any other leading chemist
Nivea - boots or superdrug
blusher - Boots

Hope this helps!

YSL Touche Eclat for around £22 or I know that The Body Shop used to do one for around £10- both contain light reflective particles to hide the dark circles
Also invest in a decent eye gel which is applied am and pm
Hope this helps

I would try getting rid off them instead . Darphin do an eye serum especially for darkcircles. I swear buy it. It goes under your eyecream morning and night. It cost £44 bit lasts months. Also drink loads of water and don't use face moisturiser around your eyes as they are to rich and can cause the darkness. YSL's toucheclat is a brilliant concealer for circles as well.

Try a colour corrector instead - the green ones are pretty good for dark circles. You can get them from most brands I think Rimmel have one and Boots Natural Collection. The Boots one contains Cucumber extract as well so it helps reduce any puffiness as well.

Try "Witch" concealer which you can purchase from any good pharmacy including Boots for around a fiver, I use it to cover up spots, its got natural witch Hazel and tea tree oil in it and is anti-bacterial so is good for the skin and as it blends in with your skin tone is also ideal for covering up bags/dark circles under the eyes. Make sure you get the right shade, should be a slighter lighter shade to your own skin colour to blend in well and can be used under foundation if you use it, the plus side is that it also helps clear up spots and keep your skin looking healthy.

Yves St Laurent Touche Eclat is the best product for dark circles! It really works miracles! You can get it in larger Boots and department stores for around £21.00 but it lasts about 6 months and it is really worth it! All the supermodels and make up artists swear by it!

i have dark circles and the best concealers are

clinique airbrush - expensive
loreal - £8
colllection 2000 - £5

their all liquid in a tube with a brush for application at the end. i've had them all, but weirdly enough my favourite is the cheap collection 2000 one. try them all on in boots. the trick is to get it ONE shade lighter than your foundation/all over face tone. it sounds wierd but it just works better. also if the circles are very dark put spot concealer on the darkest areas first.

It's much easier to get rid of the circles than to cover them up every day. Try Friming Eye Cream from Mary Kay. It tones the skin and reduces the lines and dark circles. Go to markay.com and you should be able to find a local consultant. Mary Kay is international and hopefully there's one in your area.

If you can go to a good department store that has an extensive cosmetics department, the sales personel should be willing to let you try their products. Hopefully you'll find something that works for you without spending any more money on a product you end up being unhappy with.

i steer clear of concealers as find them very thick. I have tried YSL Touc eclait (spelt wrongly) and that's great around 20 pounds. available in debenhams. also a cheaper version is Collection 2000 which is around 5 pounds. Not as good but still worth money and a try!!!
Good luck.
