All the above statements are true. I find that making sure I get enough water on a daily basis helps reduce cramps and headaches during your period. If your body knows you are giving it more water everyday without fail, it will not store it making your bloating and cramps much lighter. You don't want to rely on over the counter meds if you can help it. I also find that walking while on your period makes it go by faster.

the cramp's are from the lining of the uterus breaking off that cause cramps, a hot water bottle heat patch will help

the cramps are like the lining of the uterus starting to come off. at least i think thats what it is..baths, midol, heating pads work wonders with cramps

uterine contractions,u know it has muscles.boil cinnamon powder in water and drink it. generally hot drinks will help relief the pain
