Sorry, but the previous poster gave you a wrong answer.
The correct answer is

5x + 2 >= 4x - 1
5x -4x + 2 >= -1
x + 2 >= -1
x >= -1 -2
x >= -3

I'm just going to use > to make it clearer to read...

5x + 2 > 4x - 1
5x - 4x + 2 > -1
x + 2 > -1
x > -1 - 2
x > -3
