I honestly do not believe solar is practical anywhere... the reason I say this is the initial cost of the panels still will not support the money saved... solar is for people with money, who want the results, but really do not care about recovering the initial cost of the units...

It is definitely practical. The sun-ray receiver plate of solar systems does not require direct sun-light contact but rather contact with heat and ultra-violet. i believe your place should have enough elements to generate sufficient solar power.

eithr way but it depends as to where you will be using that solar
power. its not widely accepted yet
