If you mean entering Egypt with food stuff, the answer is yes. Egyptian customs do not ban the entry of any food stuff, whether baby food or anything else. Illegal drugs are the only banned item that you can not take with you along with all types of arms.

On the airplane, it is a slightly different story. It really depends on the airline you are taking. Most people just put the food in the luggage so that they don't have to go through the hassle of dumping it.

On a separate note, you will easily be able to find all types and brands of baby food in local pharmacies and super markets, so if you do not feel like carrying a lot of jars etc, rest assured you will be able to find them in Egypt.

u can take baby food or adult food, no problem with that. When I traveled from USA to Egypt I took some snacks with me and other food products that are hard to find here. It is perfectly fine. However, they did not even check my luggage or what I have and that was cuz I showed them my American passport. I hear some people have problems with other things they carry if they do not carry a passport of a well-recognized country. ur baby food should cause no problem

you would be great. maximum motels have a food market linked to them, and the Egyptians are very accomodating. in the event that they don't have what you like, they're going to comprehend the place you may get it, and/or attempt to get it for you. additionally, while my acquaintances took their toddler with them to Egypt, the inn very kindly mixed an identical foodstuff the mum and dad had, for their son. would not harm to ask. in the adventure that your toddler basically has foodstuff from a jar, you will discover that even the chemists have some English manufacturers in inventory etc. you would be able to additionally mash up some banana for him/her as there is often an abundance of fruit accessible. enjoy it ..........you and your toddler won't could concern. trustworthy.

Why are you taking the baby to Egypt in the first place? It isn't like the kid is going to get anything out of the pyramids or anything.

I see no reason why you cannot.
I should add that you can find baby food like Gerber and Cerelac here, so you don't really have to carry baby food along unless your baby can only eat certain types of baby food.

In your luggage, yes. If you want to carry food on the plane, you are only supposed to have 100ml of anything, although they tend to relax this for baby products but they might make you taste it in front of them.
