Not always. If they go public and make a big issue out of it, yes, they could face problems from others.
I know many American Muslims from the Middle East that don't wear head gear, don't go to the Mosque regularly, don't bow and pray 5 times a day, but they are still Muslims, although technicaly they are NOT honoring ISlam or Allah.

Apostasy from Islam is not admitted under Islamic law. Punishment for apostasy (extremely rare) was not in practise enforced in later times and was completely abolished by the Turks by a decree of the Ottoman government in 1844.

Tony Blair instructs our schools to teach our children,that muslims are peace loving,moderate,rational ,non-violent ,upstanding members of our society.They do not have arranged marriages,honour killings,revenge killings,jihads,rapes,terrorist cells,anti british spiel in council tax built mosques.they respect our views,laws and princples.They also contribute millions in aid to their own countries whenever there is a humanitarian crisis.
And if tony blair says it. then of course we believe it!

Of course not, we only try to know why they did that. if they are happy with their lives then it is their choice and Islam won't be weaker if a person or two decide to convert because in return hundreds convert from Christianity to Islam
