a fictitious reality..
to say that we`re the only intelligent life forms in the universe seems quite aberrant to me because we don`t even know how big the universe is so we can`t make a clear statement about the existence of aliens.

There is very little chance of us being alone in the universe - it is vast, beyond our comprehension. There must be intelligent life out there, but where? Are we ever likely to make contact? Possibly. Have 'they' visited us? Unlikely - except they could have been here before mankind, while the Earth was still dominated by the dinosaurs. Have any alien artifacts ever been found? No answer.
There's no harm in keep on looking, except that if we signal our presence to 'them' what if they're evil?

I like to go with the Panspermia (WIKI it) theory that comets seed life around the womb of the universe. In which case there are probably loads of fertilised planets with all sorts of weird and wonderful creatures. Given that our solar system is relatively young it is likely that somewhere life has developed to be more advanced than ours. The best guess we have is that they also would utilise the electromagnetic spectrum so we look for signs of that with big radio telescopes.
However, I think it was in the Calvin and Hobbes Cartoon where there was the quote:
"I think the surest sign that there is intelligent life out there in the universe is that it hasn't tried to contact us"

I think the fact that the universe is constantly expanding and with it we are exploring deeper and deeper in to space, means that we can never be sure as to what is out there. Matter is made up of so many different things and we only recently discovered what dark matter was so i think it will take a while for us to come to a conclusive decision on this.

It is really hard to think of all planets exist in the universe there are no other intteligence other than human,
In milky way itself helds millions and millions of planets, and also many-many system such as solar system that we're in right now. And there are more galaxy in the universe other than our own...so i think, yes there probably aliens out there, and we're not alone in the universe.

Given the variety of life that exists on this planet alone it is inconceivable to think that among the billions of other solar systems no other form of life could have developed. And they're all probably small and green.

"Aliens" are real. They were created by the adversary the devil to get a certain groups of peoples minds off God. This group of people is ones who think that they are going to "save" us from ourselves. Like those people who killed themselves believing the UFO's were going to come for them (and when they did'nt they poisoned themselves). There was a movie (based on fact) out a couple of years ago (Fire in the Sky) about a guy who was kidnapped and taken aboard a space ship. What he saw was that these "creatures" took victims and sucked the life out of them. They were not discriminating in their choice as if any on who also saw the movie would remember when the "aliens" found him wadering around the ship, they dragged him thru debris of people glasses shoes, (I remember the toddler shoe the most)ect. It even had a person with a tube connected to them where they creatures sucked the "nourishment" out of them. I remember a person who wrote about her contact with "aliens" as the ship hovered over her car and she was able to use mental telepathy to converse with them. She said "here we believe in a Being called God who created everything," what do you believe in? Their response was that they don't believe in that and then they left. She said everytime after that, when she went to read her bible, all she could see was the bright lights from the saucer. It hindered her from reading the word. When she went to her pastor, first she repented for communicating with them, then they prayed for her and delivered her from that problem. I only know from what I seen (hand drawn pictures of the devil) from people who have seen him when he appears at the witches/warlock convention in Santa Monica is he looks almost like his former self. Except his eyes now radiate evil.
There was a German book on UFO's some years ago I read that some americans had contact with a capt axion and they drew what he looked like. Funny it looked like the same pic I saw of the devil years earlier. So you can thing its a bunch of horse manure but they are there. If you think safety is in numbers then I guess you have never saw the 4 guys at a lakeside who got taken, Their story was told on Unsolved mysteries.

Remember just because there is a good chance there might be life on other planets doesn't mean there is life on other planets. Earth is most likely the only place in the universe to have life on it.

no we're not alone. There is so much that we just dont know. There isnt enough technology to actually prove it yet but for some reason i dont feel that out of all the other universes out there that we are the only one that contains life.
