I understand that with the new ipod nano's you don't get an installation CD but where oh where is the installation download. I managed to download itunes and then the website helpfully said 'now just install the ipod software' but it gave no indication/link about where to get it

After you download iTunes, you have to start the installation program. It will have been saved wherever your downloads are saved by default (like the "My Downloads" folder in Windows).

yes, itunes is quite tricky at points. Now you have itunes installed click on music store or download
i find on th main website www.itunes.com is always hard to use and you can never find the right link
just try clicking on everything, ask a freiend who has itunes who can visually show it to you....its hard to explain

You have to go to your ipod's website to get
the download.
Save it somewhere easy to find.
Computers tend to hide things.
Should you go with the "out the window" option,
make sure you open window, first.
