That is sort of an oxymoron because all plastics simply by the fact that they are plastics are synthetic. You will find different types of plastics at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plastics

All plastics are synthetic. The word synthetic means man made.Plastics don't occur naturally.
some egs - polythene, poly amide, back elite etc.

they are formed due to condensation polymerization (every plastic) from thier respective monomers..thats why they are synthetic
