Do i need rebooting.......into next weeks housework?

No love. What you need is your boots taken off along with your clothes - and bootied into next weekend where you can get crashed out-again. House work is for builders! ;)

When your system crashes, usually you get what is called a Blue Screen Of Death. (BSOD) When this happens, manually power down holding the power button on your PC. Power your PC back on again and see what happens.If it happens again, be sure to write down exactly what you were doing, what applications you had open, etc and repost that info out here again. 9 times out of 10 a reboot will repair just about any problem you may have. If it gives you the BSOD again, power the system down. You may have jarred (bumped the PC) causing one of the accessory boards in the back to come loose. You would then have to crack the case open and re-seat the cards. You should get a computer saavy person to do this. Whoever does this should take the proper precautions to prevent static electricity discharge while working on it, otherwise, could short circuit the internal components.

yes the best way is to reboot your system and start over that should work real good then
