I did once. After I got over the depression and learned a new way to look at life, I'll never surrender again. I have moved from a loser to a fighter to a warrior and am now a survivor and winner.

What do you mean to surrender to life or the problems it brings?
I have come so close to throwing in the towel and committing suicide but something stopped me, I could not go through with it.
I would not call someone who committed suicide a wimp... I think they are seriously ill (someone very close to me did this).
I've surrendered myself to Jesus and times get tough but I trust Him to see me through it and it makes it bearable.
Its not all misery after all.

Not unless life offered me a huge cash settlement and a house on the beach.

if you are referring to committing suicide no. however, there are times when life and problems defeat one. then one has to regroup and rethink what has happened and go about solving whatever the situation is a different way. but to just " give up " collapse and give up totally is not the way.
