Apparently your chances are MUCH better of a lasting relationship if you judge your partner within 2 points. Not a lot of people know that. More interestingly, is there anyone out there who would say that their partner is MUCH better looking than they are and if they were strangers they would be out of your league.

Hmm...nice question!
If someone doesn't judge their partner within 2 points of attractiveness of them how were they attracted to them in the first place? Why are they with them if they don't consider them as attractive as themselves (however that true and realistic that judgement is)(and we all tend to underrate ourselves, so if you think your partner is 2 points below that....) In the opposite situation I'd say this rule applies more, if your partner is more good looking than you, then you consider yourself lucky, if its within 2 points ,you love them anyway, that's why they are with you!!
I never really "rated" my boyfriend, but now that I come to think of it, yep, I'd say we are about the same. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder..

I go on a 1 to 100 scale, and yea, my last girlfriend was 10 points hotter than ANYone. It's a good point. It's really hard for guys to get close to a girl in looks points wise, because looking good is what both what girls do and what society allows.
I mean, think of it- the best looking guy would make an UGLY girl. In addition, think how many points a girl would go down if she had to have a crew cut like a guy- probably 2 points on your scale. Then girls are allowed to wear makeup and tight jeans- but if a guy wears tight jeans, he's called gay. Society sets it up so girls get an unlevel playing field, we discourage anything fair. In nature, the male is always the better looking one- look at a peacock, or a male lion's mane.
Weird how the human society has turned it around- but I love it, because I love hot girls. I dont' want to be hot, I just want a hot girl, so when I workout, etc, it's not that I want to look great, I just don't want to look out of place with a hotty.

Well she did ask me out first. So, I'm guessing something about me was attractive at the time. But, it's 11 years of marriage later and I've have to say that is much more than 2 point ahead of me. Wife is a 10!

Interesting question. I like to date within 2 points, more than that and I would be a little nervous, lower than that and I would wonder why they are with me. Although my tastes tend to be a little higher.
Currently I am seeing someone and I would peg him at 1 point lower, I prefer to be in the lead. LOL then they can’t feel like they can do better.

My partner is a handsome man, has all his own teeth nice looking man, if a bit short.
I am not too bad looking, still get a few looks and enjoy it but in photo's my hubby looks fab and i look drab.:)

well i know that i dont judge myself as anything special looking at all, but we all appeal to a number of people!
my partner i must admit i didnt fancy as such when we 1st met, but his personality makes him georgous to me.. other women look at him, so they may fancy him, but wasnt the 1st thing that attracted me to him!!
and in answer to the 2 point thing, then yep we probably are x

my partner is extremely pretty,and has a body to die for.
she gets nine out of ten.
attractiveness is not about gold teeth wigs make up gold chains belly exposure, steres type walks.or red eyed skunked up wall sitting.
my radiance is incomparable
