First off, never even compare internet explorer and firefox. Internet explorer is the worst web browser ever to be made.

In my opinion, Firefox is better. It is free software (not in terms of price (although it is free price), but in terms of that it is open source, no proprietary anything), and it is fast and secure.

Opera is proprietary, but when I used it it was good, but I prefer firefox for speed and interface.

It's really Opera vs Firefox, and it is ENTIRELY personal opinion.
