Yes, life is like a bed of roses, it is beautiful, but yet it can be painful. It has thorns and most rose dose not last of long.

Life is what you make it. It takes planning, research, ambition, dedication, perseverance, risk taking and learning from your experiences.
So for some, they get the rose blossom, some get the thorny bed and some get a combination of the 2.

Probably, because roses attract you with their beauty but you have to watch out for those thorns just like with people sometimes.
