I installed a ethernet connection & plugged into the board but computer wont pick up new hardware. What to do?

If you open up the device manager window and in your hardware list there is a yellow question mark, then it probably sees it but doesn't know what it is. From there you can install the driver with the CD that should have came with it, otherwise you'll have to look for the driver on the net. If that's not the problem then all I can say is try putting in a different slot.

If you have XP it should have *seen it* when you rebooted. Did you get a driver with it? If so install the driver and reboot again. If not use the slot next to the one it is in and try again. Also make sure it is SEATED correctly.
