The still call themselves communist, but it's a capitalist communism system. Real communists would turn in their graves.
You could have a cartoon depicting Karl Marx turning in his grave as Chinese communists turn out Prada pirate copies.

In China it is called "communism with a human face" or "communism the Chinese way".

In later years the Chinese have tried to move away from the traditional communism and introduce elements from the capitalist world. The steps they take are controlled tightly by the government in Beijing and they are doing it quite slowly. In some ways this is good, as they haven't experienced the ragnarok that happend in Russia when they went from communism to capitalism overnight. China is a huge country so it will take a long, long time before they are a democratic, capitalist nation. Many issues need their full attention like enviromental issues, human rights, medical help for everybody, etc. etc.

Read more about it here and maybe you'll feel inspired in regards of your editorial cartoon:

yes, and now they are taking our jobs also. American companies are moving to China for cheaper operations, Along with it we are still paying too much and the quality of products are not there. We are busy giving college grants to immigrants and moving our companies overseas so where does that leave our children? They can't get a good job without college but if their family can't afford college then they are faced with working in factories while immigrants are getting to go to college and wait.....where are the factories.....China and other countries where the labor is cheep. Lets wake up and smell the coffee. I believe if they taxed companies heavy for bringing back their products then maybe they would keep it in the US.

Try and freely use the Internet over there or stand up with a sign in Beijing protesting the government. They are not yet a "capitalist" nation.
