Lost
No I cannot rhyme
I wish I had the time
But sometimes I run out of all the reasons why
I even bother to try
So I just let my feelings hide
And wait for the sun to rise
So I can go through another day
Feeling just as empty inside
I am cold, I am lost
And I can’t see through the dark
It’s all empty, All past memories
Will you show me the way back to find me?
And no I don’t feel the need to cry
I am already dead inside
I find solace in my own seclusion
Don’t try to figure out a solution
This is not an inadvertent conclusion
This is who I am
I am hungry
And I’m broken
Will you help me find a poem?
I need one to unfold me
I don’t need lies to enthral me
And I am passed wanting numbness
It’s already built inside me
Will you show me the way back to find me?

wow. bravo. i write poetry myself and am taking lit courses at college and that was awesome. it's so descriptive and creative and says so so much.. wow. :D
