I remember Kenny Everett well. I spent 1966 through 1968 in Lakenheath, England and remember him on Radio London. I think people forget what an incredible time that was for the British youth. Uncensored music for the first time in history. A major step to be sure. Kenny died of aids related problems from what I remember reading.

So now you know why he died, I wonder just exactly what you're going to do with that knowledge - or was it just morbid curiosity - I hope not. There are already charities working to try and find a cure, so I hope we can all assume that having dug up the past by unnecessarily reminding us all of his unfortunate demise you will remember to make a suitable donation to one of those charities.
For your further information, he actually died from pneumonia, made incurable by the H.I.V. virus.

Steeped in mystery but generally believed to have been AIDS related. I bet Cleo Rocos knows the answer.

The late great Keny Everett; a man of many facets and I'm afraid one of his facets caused his death from an aid related illness.
In the end though he died from Heart failure.

I was AIDS related. He had been diagnosed with HIV I think for up to a couple of years before he died. I have a feeling one of his male partners had also died just before (could be wrong on that though).
