Seeing Corregidor is only 4 mi long. travel to and from would have to be by boat. Then the question would be, what type of boat? Sailing like a sloop, ketch, yawl etc, or something with power? And if powered, what size?

In rather calm waters I would think it would take between 45 to 90 minutes to travel by power boat and land(from shore to Makati).

By sailing vessel maybe 2 1/3 miles....perhaps.

Then again, I forgot a helicopter, and that might do it in 20 min or less.

From heart of Makati, take a cab of public transport going to CCP complex (10-20 mins travel depends on the traffic). Then from CCP complex to corregidor island by ferry is about 1 hour.

About 1 hr from Makati to the ferry port next to the CCP (not the main ferry terminal), and then 1 hr. and 10 min with a power catamaran. They leave every day at 8am, but you have to be at the terminal an hour early.

I was at the Pennisula and it took me two hours just to get to the dock! The hotel provided the car for a price which I don't remember..i think it was part of a package tour... after that i took a 45 minute boat ride to correigidor.
Had a nice tour and a lunch at the Inn.
it was a good day and i enjoyed seeing where Mc Arthur had his mile long headquarters building.
