Hitler's position on abortian had nothing to to with a woman's rights or a unborn child's life.

He wanted "unfavorable people" to have abortions (steralizing many) & felt the few that met his criteria for the "Lebensborn" program had a DUTY to have at least three children each, whether married or not!

Hitler was a monster, far beyond the most extreme elements of either the Dems or the Reps!

where are the links to sites that support this are you really that stupid and narrow minded you pro lifers are so hard to understand i really am so confused you think it's a crime against humanity to abort a fetus but yet fine to kill thousands of our American troops in Iraq not to mention the children and women there who were at the wrong place at the wrong time...........
not to mention most of you support the killing of abortion doctors what the heck i am so confused ..........i am the least raciest person i think Adolf Hitler was a psycho path and no matter what you call me or say about me i will remain a pro choice anti war protester and you can remain a pro life pro war supporter that is what makes America great. HE legalized abortion to eradicate the Jewish population you know genocide so get your facts straight before you post such a offensive question.......

Hitler's Germany exterminated a lot of Jewish people, Slavic people (Russian, Poles, Ukrainians). Germany bombed London, destroyed Dutch Rotterdam, killed many French resistance fighters, executed American PO W's - from this point of view Hitler was neither "Pro Life" nor "Pro Choice". He have just might kill you if he could. He was "Pro Death"

State your sources or this is propaganda.

But to briefly answer, Bush with his neverending "War on Terror" sounds MUCH more llike Hitler's state plan of "permanent war".

And actually, Hitler didn't care if single (non-Jewish) women had babies out of wedlock. He considered them an asset, cannon fodder in his "permanent war".

"In this country, for example, the Civil War led to the institution of widows' benefits, which were the predecessor of welfare in its Aid to Families with Dependent Children form. The German leader Bismarck, who was under pressure from socialists as well as the exigencies of war, instituted national health insurance. In the United States, World War II spawned educational benefits and income support for veterans. In the United Kingdom, it generated a far more generous welfare state than we have here, including free health care for all. Hitler built up a welfare state, too, including support for single women willing to produce fresh cannon fodder for his state of permanent war.

The basic gyst of what you say is true. In Nazi Germany the government stripped the Jew of his/her human status and said it was ok to kill them. The Fetus has also been stripped of it's human status and the government has said it is ok to kill them. I am sure that an abortion clinic to the unborn fetus is the same as Auschwitz was to Holocaust victims. What truly amazes me is that those who have no problem with murdering an unborn fetus are by and large the same people who oppose capital punishment.

Really the person who wanted to decided for everyone wants to let the one who it's going to effect decided for themselves?? If that was the case then I don't believe the Holocast would have happened!!
