Go and help others. Meals on Wheels needs volunteer drivers, just two hours a fortnight would be a big help. How about writing letters for Amnesty International in support of prisoners of conscience, who some governments think they can imprison and even torture with impunity, because they think no-one knows or cares about their plight, and when they get a stack of letters from all over the world demanding their release, they are often surprised, and it has resulted in the release of many people who would otherwise suffer unneccessarily in prison. There are many organisations which are crying out for volunteers; examine the list and choose one that suits you: you will feel a whole lot better for it!

You prefaced your question with "human being is imperfect". If you think you did something wrong, which you now regret, remember that we all do things we regret, and the best way to get over it is to do something good to counterbalance it and if there is a victim, atone to the victim.
I have travelled all over the world, and some of the happiest and most generous people I have met have nothing in material terms. They derive their joy from watching their children play, from doing good things for the people in their community and even from welcoming visitors into their homes and sharing their experiences on a personal basis. Why are these people happy? Because they know that every good deed they do has its rewards. They call it the "feel-good factor" in psychology.
You should also remember that everybody has somebody to talk to: a priest, minister, rabbi, imam or monk. I'm not a religious person, but I value the advice of any of the above because they are devoted, and not by money, to give sound advice to others. Village elders are often sage advisors (never underestimate the wisdom of old people); your own parents may seem generationally disconnected, but they coped with some of the same problems you have when they were young - if not your parents, then another family member like an uncle or aunt or grandparent - you have more in common with them than you might think. A real friend will also help you. Find the courage to speak to a trusted friend. Younger people may not always give the best advice, but a real friend will at least give you a sounding board and never betray your confidence.
Also, do something to make yourself feel "worthy". Wherever you are in the world there is something going on which is meant to enhance your life/your environment. It could be something as simple as volunteering to pick up trash off a beach, or helping to move tree branches off the road after a storm. If you are interested in civil affairs, attend a town meeting. Do more to help women, children, old people in your community. Show that you are the kind of person you want to be.
Finally, respect yourself as a person, without egoism, regardless of your circumstances. Because if you don't believe in your own worth, it will be more difficult for others to believe in it.

You do exactly what you've already done. Come right here to Yahoo Q&A! You can ask us for advice anytime. Some people even provide you the opportunity to e-mail them personally. My advice to you regarding your current question is to find a hobby that you really enjoy. That will take your mind off of your woes. Join a gym or become a mentor. Smile at people and give compliments. You might just find some new friends. Good luck to you.

I did it just last night, and it is always effective. I opened the Bible with my eyes closed, and let my fingers come to rest on their own at a particular point on the pages. Then, I took these words to heart. Some may argue; but I know, for me, it always provides a shining light into a dark future.
