CSI's current theme song used since season 2, is "Who Are You", written by Pete Townshend of The Who as the title track of their 1978 album. For episodes of season 1, another song was used for the original airings, but this song was used for the syndication airings. The show's spinoffs also use Who songs as their theme songs: "Won't Get Fooled Again" for CSI: Miami and "Baba O'Riley" for CSI: NY, both recorded by The Who in 1971 for their album Who's Next.

All 3 CSI subject songs are sung by utilising the Who. long island- Baba o'riley Miami-won't get fooled lower back Las Vegas-who're you? Las vegas is obviously the superb CSI...Miami is terrible.

Come on now! The name of the band is in the song. Its The Who! and they use the same for all the CSI shows.

The opening songs to all the csi shows are various Who songs. For CSI: Vegas the song is "Who Are You?', For CSI:Miami the song is "Won't Get Fooled Again". And for CSI:NY the song is "Baba O'Reilly".
