If Hillary would of been the one that cheated, she would have been the one being looked down on. But since it was he who cheated, why should she still be looked down on?

A woman could very well be elected president in 2008. We'd still be calling him "Mr. President," of course because that's his right even beyond his dying day. Beyond that, the "when" is impossible to determine, because very few women have EVER run for president and I'm sure that is not going to change in the near future. In fact the list of female candidates is only nine ladies long including Senator Clinton. There are no legal issues hindering women from entering the race for President, however the social issues abound. Pick a card, any card; from gender bias, emotional stability, fiscal responsibility, and the list could go on and on. I think the biggest problem is that the U.S. has not become accustomed, on any level of government, to having women in authority. Women still constitute a small percentage of government across the nation. I believe that as women begin to take more powerful positions and prove themselves to the public eye, winning the presidency won't be far behind. Take for example Condoleeza Rice, Nancy Pelosi, and Sen. Clinton. Their success opens the minds of Americans to the possibility of a female president. As you know, Clinton is testing how open-minded Americans are already.

2008. President Hillary Clinton.

At this point nothing is keeping her from running. Our patriarchal society is finally shifting. Thank God.

Theirs is a marriage of convenience. So, Bill Clinton committed adultery, and Hillary put up with it in order to keep her career on track. If she had divorced him, she would be a divorced woman, in politics, and would probably be considered to be a tainted woman in some circles. She would have had to go to parties alone. Any way she moved, she would have received criticism. If she is elected, no doubt, Bill will have a considerable amount of influence. So what? He did a great job during his administration, so I have no problem with his helping to run this country again. What will he be called? How about President Clinton. He wears that honor for the rest of his life.

When a women can stand on her own beliefs and show the strength of leadership. Hillary comes with her husband and that makes it to obvious who will be running. How can this person with only her two terms as a senator and no other experience make her qualified for the job? It;s insane that she is the lead person for the Democratic ticket right now. Our country is ready right now if a women had the qualities that I mentioned. In fact , I would guess that Americans don't care if it was a man or a women, they just want our leaders in congress and the President to work for us , not their political parties.

All we need is a woman who is qualified and willing to age about 20 years in 2 terms.

As for the "first gentleman", the jokes and political cartoons should be good.
