There are a lot of Lebanese, Iraqis, Pakistanis, Indians, etc, but you never see an Afghan. Do the refugees go elsewhere? Is there an Afghan embassy in Athens?

There are Afghans in Athens. I know because I have interviewed some of them on Klafthmonos Sq. in 2005.
Nowadays as Leonarda mentions, it is easier to list the countries from which people have not gone to Greece than the ones from which they have.

my dear in Greece unfortunately you find everything except of greeks nowdays...We are the minority. Not the foreigners. You will say I am racist, not I am not, but I see the unemployment in my country, the deliquency, and I feel that I am a foreigner in Greece, in my own country. Fortunately arabs dont provock problems. The problems come always from the ex communist countries..
