There is a website www.freecycle.com, you sign up and people advertise things on there that they no longer want, to give away to people who want them. Everything from clothes to furnature. In return, you advertise your unwanted goods to return the favour to someone else. I have never seen the site or been involved in any way, but read about it in a magazine.

Free, brand new clothes and infant supplies? PLEASE let me know if you find these anywhere lol. No one gives away brand new clothes. Pay less shoe source DOES give away 1 free pair of shoes for every child under the age of 12 months. As for clothes, if you have a Goodwill near you they have this thing where they have a "Quarter Monday" (its Tuesday at some, just consult your local branch for the day). This is AWESOME. When clothes come in they color code them with colored tags, they use a different color every week. On quarter day one of the tag colors is a quarter a piece! They also have a weekly special where a certain color is half price (so instead of it being 2.50 it would be 1.25). Hope this helps. Free cycle is also a good place to look, but you have to be patient. VERY patient. They don't automatically give out what you are looking for.

Call your local pregnancy center - they usually have things donated that are in good condition and are free for those who cannot afford otherwise. If you just want free clothes just to get them free, I have no idea. If you find a site let me and the rest of the world know!!

I highly doubt you'll be able to find a place that will give you free brand new baby clothes. If that we're available, trust me, we'd all know about it. I would suggest Ebay, garage sales, thrift stores, or consignment shops.

If your friend can't afford baby clothes, I'm sure he won't care if they are new. Go to the thrift stores. Why don't you go and buy diapers, wipes or formula (if not breastfed) for the baby? It sounds like they are struggling.

If she can't afford baby clothes she can't afford the baby, maybe she should do right by the kid and give him up for adption to parents who are financially prepared to raise a child.
