Certain bacteria have rotating parts. On a multicellular level, it may be impossible to evolve because an "almost rotating" body part would have to operate on a completely different mechanical principle than the fully evolved rotating part. Your neck muscles would get twisted if your head were fully rotating, for example.

If the wheels are to be alive, they could must have a blood grant to them. yet there is not any way of connecting this up if the wheel is fastened on an axle, because the arteries bringing the blood to the wheel ought to get all tousled. some tiny creatures said as microorganisms have rotating factors which could bypass each and every of how round. they're so small that the rotating factors do not go with any blood. in view that those creatures stay in water, they don't use them as wheels yet as propellers.

Doesn't this question belong in the Physic's department?
Have you ever tried to take a car or a bike off road? Try to take your car or your bike on to really rocky terrain or muddy, etc--perhaps you'll see that wheels are best for roads. Have you ever seen a mountain goat (perhaps in a movie)? Can you imagine a vehicle of some kind moving on wheels going where these animals go? No way!
However, isn't it the dung beetle that moves its dung by shaping it into a sphere and pushing it along?

A wheel would have to grow on the animal. If the wheel is rotating, how do blood vessels and nerves get from the axle to the bearing? They would be twisted and broken in no time.

Wheels are not that efficient, legs are much better, they work equally well in regular or rough surfaces, the can walk stairs (what remains a big problem in robotics), they can make better turns than wheels, jump, kick, play soccer...
and some are extremely pretty.

wheels do exist in nature, the ones we invented. hear me out
i belive everything we've ever invented is "natural", the wheel for instance, was invented by us human. but how and why? the answer to both of those is nature, nature is what gave us the thumbs and intelligence to invent the wheel, and everything thereafter. i dont see a reason to differenciate "man-made" and "nature", i think everything indirectly comes from nature at the end of the day.

Because wheels involve technology, something that is exclusive only to humans- They need to be created. They are one of the "Simple Machines," which includes:
Screw
Wheel and Axle
Wedge
Pulley
Inclined Plane
Lever

It is not scientifically possible, at least that we know of.
Maybe Not on this planet. But somewhere out there, there is some creature that runs on wheels....
Just a Thought.

I feel like I am wasting time answering this, but there is no such thing as dumb question is there?. Animals and Us have the soul, wheels dont have souls, we created that. Who is the real you, your body or your soul?...man I gotta go sleep now, Peace.
