A family friend told me that Vinegar cause miscarriages because it has some type of chemical in it. Is this true? I know this sounds weird but better safe than sorry right? I wouldn't wanna harm my baby by eating salt and vinegar chips.

Well, here's one I've never heard.
I guarantee that if vinegar caused miscarriages, it would be widely known and women would be told by their doctors not to consume it. So keep eating your chips.

I've never heard of that one either. I ate salt & vinegar chips at least once a week while I was pregnant and ate salads with oil/vinegar. I wouldn't worry about it, that sounds like a strange one.

I have never heard of that one but I don't think so. I'm 6 months pregnant and I crave vinegar...early in pregnancy I almost drank it, that's how much I wanted it. It may be different since I'm living in China and they might prepare their vinegar differently but I think it's just an old wives tale.

old wives tale...I eat pickles AND make my own pickled cucumbers..and I'm 40 weeks pregnant! Rubbish. Eat salt and vinegar chips (but not too much!).
