As long as we keep ourselves from killing each other, we will inevitably rule the world and the world will be a better place as a result.

Current trends indicate that only our allies are prospering economically and remaining stable politically. Current financial trends, language trends and cultural trends seem to indicate that the whole world already looks to the US for guidance, stability, and inspiration.

at this juncture in the country, I would most like to see our personal and collective cores of values be restored. By this I mean, people being polite, parents teaching their children the importance of honesty and loyalty, as well as a bit of the old pioneer spirit being thrown into the mix.
We are a spoiled, soft, lazy nation and, if we aren't careful, we may destroy our own society.

not much as long as liberals are in charge. this nation was founded on self reliance and avoidance of burdensome regulation from government. the razor thin mandate of 2006 was supposed to be about iraq. according to the first hundred hours it was about tax and spend...legilslation of the power to vote for non resident territories of the us, in direct viloation of the constitution (see yahoo news) and a cut and run strategy that even the new secy of defense says publicly wont work. tax and spend is that real and that cancerous. unless something is done soon, god help us all.

I have alot of hope for our country. As long as its people believe that Democracy is the key to Freedom. As long as we protect our children, an as long as we believe as" one nation under God indivisible", we'll do just fine, regardless of our leaders.
