Liberals don't like what works cause if everything is running fine who needs a liberal. They are not really interested in fairness, but more interested in stirring up perceived unfairness to keep getting relected. Everyone in this country is given the chance to succeed. Many do, white, black, red, yellow, some acheive high levels of success, some acheive moderate success and some of course do fail. Liberals point out that failure was based not on the individual but on the system. If people would plan on working for everything they get in life and stop being dependent on government for everything they would find that they don't need a governent of the size and proportion that our Fed has swelled to. Liberals hate this idea because it puts them out of work.

It's based on a philosophical belief: the ends DO NOT justify the means.
Very simple. If you believe the ends justify the means, OK, it's a free for all. If you believe the ends do not justify the means, we must seek a system that not only gets us to the promised land, but also does so in the best possible way. Liberals are concerned with what works, and also that it works to maximize quality of life, not just standard of living. Big difference.
How's that for you?
When you have a choice, as we do, we have to make the system the best it can be.
The best way to teach someone is with random electroshock therapy. Experimental psychologists have proven this time and again. If you want to stop someone's poor behavior, administer random electroshock.
Would you use this on your kids? If no, why not?
The answer is a microcosm of why the system needs to be just and good -- not just efficient.

Well, its not so much actually being fair as much as its doing what they think is fair.
For instance, child services is one of, if not the most, corrupt organizations in the US. There are literally millions of people who have horror stories about what happened to them because of child services.
My best friend was removed from her grandparents home because her criminal mother made accusations that the grandparents were abusive. I was there firsthand and can vouch against that. But child services didnt care, and put her in a home with a crack addict that couldnt even afford to pay the phone bill. Then it was all down hill from there.
Thats just one example.
Oh, and the ends does justify the means, because if it doesnt, then the ends is going to be much much worse than the means that could have stopped it.

Lets see here , first we need to define words as Democrats use them.
Bipartisan- we right it you don't get to discuss or amend it you get to vote.
Fair-that which helps us and hurts you.
Patriot- the lowest crawling thing on the planet that hates America.
Free speech- anything we say and nothing against us
Debate of issues-character assassination and slander.
Balanced budget- we spend what we want and raise taxes to fit that.
For the little guy- communism.
Once you understand the democrat definitions then you can actually talk about what they are saying.

Well slavery worked.
Women not having the vote worked.
Child labor worked.
Were any of these fair or just or right? No.
Thank you for highlighting the liberal cause.

Whats fair about raising taxes ? Whats fair about calling the US a pariah state ? Liberals do not work on fair , they work on power and control.

Irreligious libs worship at the altar of forced equality! From each according to his means, to each according to his needs! That makes it fair in their warped world.
Plus in their mind if it's something fair they can "feel" good about it, and we know libs operate on their feelings not facts!
