I downloaded an anti virus programme to my desktop and it asked me to supply my e-mail address and password. When I tried to get the anti virus correctly downloaded I discovered that I'd got my e-mail password incorrect and the programme cannot now be downloaded

Is this a free program then. If it is paid the site will send you an email with your name and ID or password.

Try to go to CONTROL PANEL, click PC HELP & TOOLs, then click RESTORE. Go to a point before you downloaded the anti-virus program. RESTORE is like a time machine. You go back before you screwed up. If it is successful you can then try to download the antivirus program again and not forget this time.

Now for some reason it does not work, then try and delete whatever virus program you have.

I presume you downloaded the program and when it finished you tried to RUN the program and that is when you had trouble.

Don't understand your question. Try answering. The password is not the password of your email account, but a separate password for your anti-virus account. Incorrect means what? Does it changes by itself so that you cannot download again? Or do you forget the original password and therefore cannot download again. May be you can create another account and another password. It is up to the company to allow you to do so.
