I would like to start shoe boxes for children with phyical disabilities. I would especially like to hear from parents of children 4 to 14 with disabilites.

Depends on the limitation, but a wooden train set can occupy a 4-year-old for hours (girls and boys alike).

maybe barbies for girls? they could just hold them, and if you took them out of the packages you could probably get three in a box. but then again, it depends on how big the shoe box is.

this is hard because of the no batteries/power thing.
