Speak with citizen advice. I am sure that they cannot do that unless you have been injured so bad you cannot carry out the job you were employed to do. And if that the case they should offer you alternative. If accident at work then they could get in lots trouble. Also contact the Health and Safety Executive. No. from local council.

I don't know how things work in the UK, but usually in the US after 3 months your orientation period is over and you can count on staying with the company as a permanent employee. Hopefully you filed a work man's compensation report with your boss/ manager when you had your injury if you didn't you still can and bring your medical records from the hospital or doctor's office with you. Also call a lawyer.

I guess that all depends on why and how you fell. What were the conditions, etc? Your best bet would be to contact your labour board and get council from a lawyer. Good luck!

You fell at work? You injured yourself? You are unable to return to work? And they are looking at firing you? Well I don't know about the UK, but here in the USA that is a major lawsuit.

most companies do a trial period of 3 months and can dismiss you during that time for whatever reason they want...which is discusting esp in your situation but i dont think there is much you can do. tell them where to stick their job and walk out
