Why Indian politicians worried about the world terrorism?

When they have mostly failed since last so many decades over this issue in India? I agree terrorism acts are interlinked worldwide, but worrying about the international terrorism, forgetting our own country, doesn't mean anything. First we should be protected from evil elements within the country and when we feel that we are capable of handling this issue effectively, we will have the right to condemn such acts happening worldwide. Just comparing our terrorism everytime with other countries like USA, and constantly trying to explain them that hey look, we alerted you and now you feel the pain suffering like us. But, we forget that countries like USA have taken the best effort (after 9/11) and they have hardly felt any tremour once again, but our situation is constant since last 3 decades and hence, our politicians have no right to worry about the international terrorism...let them first make Indian citizens to feel safe and secure..

Hi!

Politicians are just that - politicians. Be it India, America or even South Korea. They will always be the same. What really matters is the people whom they govern.

Humans have a natural tendency to look for answers elsewhere when they are exhausted finding one for themselves. Indian Politicians are no different and they cite world terrorism as an important topic of debate - to divert attention from the grim reality inside to the all known facts existing outside.

Considering the amount of terror attacks that India has seen in the past three decades, we have grown over the regular news articles about bomb blasts. The people do not get affected by them until it happens to them - until it happens to you, you wouldn't feel the pain. It has become an everyday story.

Indian politicians have failed miserably to check terror because there is no clear policy or will. No Government has ever come out with a clear zero tolerance agenda against Terrorism and there are no serious checks against the terrorists who are caught being trained.

The concern in International media for World terrorism has always been for the Western countries. That is beacause they treat a SINGLE dead victim very seriously. They have been very successful in checking the growth of terrorism.

This success elsewhere, gives an oppurtunity for Indian politicians to buy time in make excuses of "studies, collaborations, research etc."

One thing that everybody should know is: THEY ARE JUST BUYING TIME. Time until they retire. That's it.

What can you do? Even a single "seriously written" letter from you to the Prime Minister's Office, to the Editors of great Indian news papers and channels or to the Chief Minister's Office of your state can make a difference. Write on how you feel insecure and how you want the conditions to improve. It makes a difference, a hell lot of a difference.

Education will change every thing. Experience will ensure that.

Not only politicians but general public is also worried .
India is facing this problem much more.Main root of terrorism is in Pakistan.
Us will be the leader of war against terrorism of Islamic nations and groups.
This war will be also against the nations who are threatning of Npower.

Yes politicians are responsible for growing terrorism in India because they are not taking proper measures to secure levies of people. As India is adjacent to biggest terrorist hub (Pakistan) we should be more concern about it.

It is part of being a good human being to acknowledge when people elsewhere in the world are being victimised or suffering.

And there is no reason not to take action simultaneously against domestic and foreign criminals.

As long as responses are sensible and proportionate, there is nothing wrong with it.
