I was told by people who work there that AARP has a great one. I am guessing at www.AARP.com. They have a chat room apparently.

I’m one of the writers for Gilbert Guide (the foremost resource for everything senior care) and I’ve come across a few forums for seniors that I think might interest you:

http://seniors-site.com/
Senior chat rooms and resources
www.eons.com
“50+ everything,” and they seem to live up to that tagline.
http://www.wiredseniors.com/ageofreason/
A network of senior-friendly sites and resources; includes a discussion forum and bulletin board.
http://www.friendly4seniors.com/
The database lists of over 2,000 senior related sites (some chat forums, others more informative).
http://www.greypath.com/
Free social community.
http://groups.yahoo.com/
Search keyword: “seniors” and the search will yield around 500 groups.
http://groups.msn.com/
There are over 1,700 senior groups.

This free online community will be up and running by the end of February, but people can register in advance to be a member.

Just a little something fun—once you make all those new friends, you’re going to want some jokes to tell!

I will certainly add to this list as I come across more. Here at Gilbert Guide, connecting seniors with high quality solutions is what we do best.

Here’s to making new friends—
