Does it matter now? She is gone. She was in a vegetative state in any case. It may or may not have continued....we won't know.

What a sad pathetic case that came to be. Our congressmen and President entered into an argument that should have been left to the family and the courts. As for her quality of life, I could not see any chance for her recovering. It is hard for parents to give up a child, so I understand her parents desire to hold on to Hope. I wonder however, what her opion of those tapes that the family released of her would have been. Personally, if I were in such shape I would prefer it remain private.

A proper life would mean, getting a job and paying your own way in life. The American Public was paying for her to lay in a vegetative state for the rest of her life. I don't think able bodied people who don't work are living a proper life.

I don't think so. She might have had more of a quantity of life, but not QUALITY. What would you have done? If I was in her shoes, I would have wanted it that way.
