that nuclear power is the only 'green' way forward in providing energy for this country and yet has joined the west's chorus of disapproval when it comes to Iran going nuclear. Is this fair? Do we believe our western politicians when they say Iran is mad bad and dangerous to know? or is it all just propaganda (Please don't quote the 'wipe Israel off the face of the earth' thing, it was rhetoric and Ahmadinejad was simply playing to the crowd just as Blair and Bush play to theirs.)

Why do you say Iran wants to kill millions of people? Where is the proof? This is what i mean about propaganda, who has killed 10's of thousand of people recently? Not Iran!

Oh yeh, and Israel recently did a pretty convincing job of flattening the Lebanon! No complaints or fears about them having nuclear weapons then?!

Ahmadinejad was simply playing to the crowd ?
Well, the skinny toad must be a master politician when it comes to foreign-policy, I guess.
If that's called rhetoric, then perhaps I can share some with him.
The whole of Iran, and all its people, could be wiped out in less than an hour....and that's a fact, not wishful-thinking..

There's no leaders madder than Blair and Bush.
In spouting this propaganda about Iran they are justifying themselves to the world and think that when they invade Iran that the public will be behind them as they were when Iraq was invaded.

Here's the difference:
Tony Blair wants to replace the burning of coal for electric power with the burning of a nuclear reactor for electric power, a much cleaner, global-warming friendly source of energy.
Iran wants to threaten, blackmail and kill people by the millions with his nuclear energy. For heaven's sake, he's sitting on 1/4 of the world's oil! Why does he need nuclear energy?

yes i think they should be controlled. they cannot be allowed nuclear capability. we have enough problems with them with conventional weapons. that's the last thing we need. the day you can pull a sickly grin like tony blair, i'll vote for you as prime minister
