Problem is I use a lot of hair product which could cause infection

Well, multiple ear piercings say something about the person- whether or not the idea they give is true, they do give a certain idea of a person. I think you'd be aware of what that image is- rebel etc.
I know many people who have gotten three-four piercings on each year. And frankly, many of them don't use the extra holes after some time.
Some get bored of it, some mature and find that look so passe, others want to take away the image that others have of them.
They do look messy if you ask me. Not messy really, but more like...not neat...hahah
And you're right. Introducing those strong alkaline/ acid based stuff you put on your hair is going to cause infection. I'm sure you wouldn't want to sacrifice the image of what good hair can give you for a second ear hole.
It's up to you though. You might want to hold back on the hair products. They won't be much of a problem if you use them carefully.

I use products also...It don't bother me at all. I have 8 holes in my ears. Three on each side and two at the top of my left ear. They are real pretty, and never give me a problem. Go with it....You be glad you did. Just be careful as I was the first couple months and keep them clean. I had the 4 done at the same time. Was sore a while. But they are fine now.

I have my ears pierced twice. I love it. Hair products won't cause an infection. Make sure you get them pierced where they use the earrings to pierce your ears. You will have no problem then and leave the earrings in for about 4 weeks to let your ears heal. And clean them with antiseptic wipes

Two on each ear looks very pretty especially with 2 small earrings. Every night clean around the holes in your lobs with rubbing alcohol. Have fun. Just don't get too many piercing not good for the job market!

I guess it depends on your age , sense of fashion & maybe your job.
In my teens i had 3 piercings in each ear, which was totally cool then & I loved them. Now, 10 years on & in a career, I've left 2 holes n each ear close up so I just have one on each ear.
As to the hair product - if you take care of the piercings and keep them well cleaned, the hair porduct shouldn't interfere with it.

they only look messy when u dont have the right jewellery in, as for the hair products, keep the piercings clean as u should anyway and u wont have a problem, good luck

i think second ear piercings are adorable; it's just enough piercings on your ear, not too many to look messy :)

I have my ears pierced twice.Keep hair products away from your ears.Once they heal you will be okay.

Yeah, it could cause an infection if you're not careful.
But if you want it very much,and U think it suits you,then do it!

If your in doubt, leave it for now. If your prone to ear infections i would avoid having it done myself.
