i received an email from a best western hotel, yet a girls email was on it! why? shouldn't it say bestwestern?

the hotel is just providing a gateway to the internet.

if u look thru the headers the hotel ip address will be there though

google email headers for more info.

do you think she is playing u?

if the mail is spam then the address are probably fake anyway

It shouldn’t say best western unless she was using their account. Does she work there? If she does, she could be using her work email? However, you can also open an account with any web-based email and have it say whatever you want as your email address as long as it hasn't been used. If its asking for money or personal information don't trust it.

well only if you type in your email there or maybe it will have the hotels email so just make sure your friend knows both

It is probably an individual being employed for marketing/polling but it should still come in the hotel's name.
