At this point, I haven't seen any credible arguments for
him being a good president. Between lying and
failure to address real emergencies, he may well
end up being viewed as one of the worst presidents
we have ever had.

Lets see:
1: Failed to bring a stable government to Afghanistan
2: Attacked a sovereign state (Iraq) for no good reason
with apparently little thought to the consequences
3: Failed to address natural disasters in this country
in a timely and useful fashion (Katrina, Rita).
4: Maintained for more than 4 years that global warming
was unproven and diligently took apart environmental
protections while using the energy companies to determine
energy policies.

There are lots of smaller, but perhaps more insidious things
such as taking questions in the white house briefing room
only from friendly questioners, that totally undermine the
country's faith that it is getting any information from our
government about what is actually going on.

The current president is one of the best ever. Before you attempt to hunt me down and kill me, let me substantiate this. He's so far managed to anger not only opposing parties as most politicians tend to do, but he's even managed to anger large swaths of his very own party. The fact that not one person can find a piece of dirt on him that would make it possible to impeach him makes him the one of the best presidents ever. Why couldn't Monica find him attractive?

He's also one of the best politicians ever, having won the presidency twice, even though more people voted against him than for him. (Think about that one for a second, snicker.) Now THAT is a good politician.

As for his decision making process? He's openly and publicly defied Congress. Before I continue, let's remind the reader here that Congress is who appoints a president if there is an exact tie in the election (i.e. one vote makes or breaks it, country wide). They House of Reps typically send a bill to the president who can veto it. Congress can override the veto. Congress decides if an act can be considered criminal and therefore impeachable. They can effectively shut off funding to the military and stop the war because the troops aren't being paid (granted, that's not very likely.) They can determine that a law is unconstitutional.

Now, let me restate my previous sentence: He's openly and publicly defied Congress. A good president says yes ma'am to Congress. A great president openly defies the organization that can cost him his job.

[This comment is entirely sarcastic. The man has no business being in the White House.]

As a US president, you have to take many hard decisions to make nation more strong and efficient.
Actually US president is a hope for whole mankind to fight terrorism elsewhere.
Next polarisation will be lead by US against terrorist supporting Islamic nations and groups.
Many Saddam's and La den's are to be hanged to save in tire mankind.
We can not blame for Mr. Bush's efforts to end the extremists.
Did you ever think about lac's of innocent people killed in past terrorist attacks?

Bush is a bad president. He lied to his people and to the world. Perhaps all presidents of the us told lies at one time or other, except perhaps president Washington.Bush's lies coasted many lives of innocent people without him blinking an eye. He is adamant to kill much more. For some one who never served his country in any war, one wonders his love to war and killing! or perhaps this a natural consequence to that! If a president is supposed to be a model to his people, Mr. Bush presented a bad one indeed.

Being an American Bush has a motive to safeguard its interest. He is good when we see him as a saviour of American economy by taking control of Iraqs oil resources. He is bad when we see him as a devil on whose orders many innocent people were killed.

If you are a defense contractor, weapons dealer, oil corporation, Israeli citizen, or terrorist recruiter, Bush has been a great president.

Windfall contracts, money without oversight, one of the largest oil reserves in the world open for financial exploitation, a soon to be reopened Iraq to Israel oil pipeline, a US occupied country full of oppressed and unemployed young males.

He's a good president because he stood up and protected America when we were attacked. He stands up for what he believes in. He cut taxes over 1.3 trillion dollars.

He is a bad president for continuing this unwinnable war in Iraq and sending more troops over there. I have recently signed a petition telling him that it seems to be so easy for him to send other people's children over there, but I wonder how fast he would do it if his own children, nephews and nieces were being sent.
