Hello,
Check your Bible, Rebecca ia spelt R-e-b-e-c-c-a, and it has been for over 2 thousand years, it is a beautiful name, and Bless the person who is to recieve it, if it's a baby, try not to let anyone call her Beccy for short, I am a man, and my name isn't Rebecca, it is Michael Anrthony, with a Mc. beginning my last name, can you imagine how many 'short names' I have? and it doesn't help with me being of Irish Birth either. but I am a fun feller, and my 11 children call me Dad, so there's a name I can very well live with....... Bye......... Tony M
