I have no idea how to do this:
10 ≤ 4x - 2 ≤ 14

add 2 to all three sides
12 < 4x < 16
divide by four
3 < x < 4

i'll write "<" instead of that signs... so:

10 < 4x - 2 < 14 (+2)
12 < 4x < 16 (/4)
3 < x < 4 =>
x is (3,4) if the inequality is in R
and x = {1} if it's in N

Break it up into two separate equations.

10 <= 4x - 2

12 <= 4x

3 <= x

4x - 2 <= 14
4x <= 16
x <= 4

Therefore

3 <= x <= 4
