my fiance and i are trying to get me pregnant. i stopped oral contraceptives in november. per a test kit, i had ovulation in both december and january and didnt get pregnant. we are doing everything right but it hasnt worked yet. due to the fact that he is deploying during 2008, we are only going to try for the baby during february and march, then call it quits and try again whe he gets back from iraq. is there any chance i will get pregnant in the next two months or probably not since it hasnt happened these first two months? everyone keeps telling me to be patient but i'm getting nervous.

It will happen when the time is right. Dont stress about it...it doesnt help. My husband and I have been trying since Sept and nothing yet. He's being deployed in mid June. I feel the same way, but know that if I "relax" , then it might just happen before he leaves. If not, we will keep trying when he returns. DONT STRESS ABOUT IT AND GOOD LUCK!!

First off, relax. Stress will not help you get pregnant, and it may have the opposite effect. I can understand the stress you are under but try to relax...if it is meant to be it is meant to be.

Second, yes, there is a likely a decent chance you will get pregnant trying to conceive for 2 consecutive months. According to webMD, the average chances of getting pregnant are 20% per month. This may be higher if you are younger, not smoking, etc. So do some research and find out what you can do to increase your chances...

You can track certain things like temperature to calculate your ovulation too... I suggest going to the website below and learning more...

Hi
Relax! Being anxious and impatient will only delay the process. Have you both been checked to see if you are fertile? If not then I suggest you do. But two months of trying isn't even the average time it takes for the average couple to conceive (average is 6 - 12 months). When I was trying for my first I started taking Vitex Agnus Castus for the first 2 weeks of my period and False Unicorn Root for the second two weeks of my period. These are natural pills which you can get from a health food store. I got preg in the first month of taking these. Have faith in yourself and remember to relax it will happen! Good luck to you.

Getting pregnant can take some time, but the main thing is to not let the stress get to you, as that can interfere with chances of conceiving. When it's meant to happen, it will! Good luck!

you should stop trying so hard. if you stress yourself out thinking about i need to get pregnant then you probably wont. just try to not get so nervous and enjoy your time with your husband instead of hey we only have 2 months to get pregnant. i had 2 friends who it took them about 3 months to get pregnant because they were trying so hard. finally they both relaxed and boom they got pregnant. keep on trying and try again.

You may need to see your OB/GYN. Do you know if you have fertility issues or your husband could have low sperm count. It may be nothing at all. Just go to the Dr. and find out for sure before you worry yourself too much.
