the onset of puberty is usually accompanied by many, many natural erections. erections can start any time after birth. usually, it's the time just before a boy urinates.

An erection in a male can and does occur in infants,. usually prior to urination. As one enters puberty, erections occur from some form of erotic stimulus or vibtations on a bus or thoughts of sex or voyerism.
There is no real age barrier to having an erection. As one grows older the ability to maintain a firm erection diminsishes as does the frequency. This varies depending on health, age and metal and physical activity of the individual. Even in death some males can have an erection
