Happiness comes from within. You can be happy if you want to be happy. You don't need anything from outside to make you happy.

If you want to find happiness, search within.

So, maybe meditation can help you. (Try art of living)

This is not possible in this world. If you look at the natural things around, u will get an answer. Every where we have positive and negative, good & bad, left & right etc. So you cant always be in one state. You have to face some negative aspects in life. Like your dearest one dying in front of you. Death is the only thing which is 100% sure in this world. But one answer to your question is to remain peaceful and calm in all the situations of life. Peace is appropriate than happiness. this can be achieved only by means of Believing in God, the Almighty. Otherwise if u are an atheist, you keep asking questions and reach a point where you hit the wall. At that point only answer is belief in God.
When you enter someone's house telling Good Morning without knowing that just few minutes back someone had died in that house. How can they have good morning in that situation? They need to control their grief and remain in peace. Perhaps our soothing words can do that. But certainly they cant have a good morning in that situation.

You can't. There will always be those moments when you're feeling blue.
However, you can make those moments better/have less of those moments.
For me, its my friends that keep me going. They help me through the bad moments, now I have less of those moments of sorrow.[which is close to being happy forever I guess] They gave me what I've always wanted, a place to belong, people who accept & like me, & a place where when I show up, they greet me with a smile.
Happiness is diffrent for everyone, just go out there & look. Think about what you want & need. You'll find it.

I have always felt that we should do what we have to do.

If we will be, all we can be, to the best of our ability we can't help but be happy.

Be true to you self, honest, trustworthy, be kind and care and alway work on having respect for our self. In kind we will be respected.

We are not perfect. When we make mistakes and learn from them, we can pick our self up and take the next step forward and by all means forgive our self.

If we do our best with the wisdom we have, we can wake up each day and say, " I love life."

by remembering the tiniest beauty of the world, develop a ability to see beauty every where you look. Believe me this would help you to remain happy even in the worst moments.

that was buddhas quest. And he did find an answer in the end. If you look inside deeply enough you will find a happiness that goes beyond anything that can ever happen to you.

My experience is that my awareness expanded to cover all things, and then i found happiness in the unity and harmony.

Subjective. Utterly personal. No one can illuminate that one for you. Needless to add that because we live in a wolrd of contrasts, black-white, night-day, hot-cold, it is impossible to know one without awareness of the other. Hence, if one were to be hypothetically "happy" all the time, one would not "know " happiness, never having experienced sadness.

Happiness is a choice. You choose to be happy by changing your mindset. I choose to think about the positives in every situation. Even the bad ones can have positive outcomes. Happiness isn't about circumstances or feelings - its about how you choose to think.

I personally don't know how you can be happy , just know that you are alive and as a living person what you do affects the people around you, and thats what somehow makes happiness, knowing someone will be affected by, YOU.
