Yes you did. NOW it's time to sit down and discuss where the line needs to be drawn. Compromise in an assertive way sort of like the way you helped bring out her confidence.

Maybe you should try a little role reversal and place a heap of demands upon her that you know she'll never be able to keep up with and when she complains say you were trying to prove a point to make her realise how she's been making you feel. Try to say something positive and compassionate in order to avoid an explosive row. Tell her you think you have both been unrealistic.

Feel free to let her make the decisions. Also ensure that she alone is RESPONSIBLE for ALL the consequences. You see, that takes much of the fizz out of this "equal RIGHTS" issue. Do NOT be the white knight that rescues her from her own folly

Threatenen her that you'll leave if she doesn't change. Make sure that SHE knows that you're not property. Tell her that she's not being fair. I pack your Sh*t and leave. Tell her that you love her but you won't be back until she's ready to treat you like your HUSBAND not her SLAVE!!! I'm a wife myself and that's what I would do if my husband treated me like that... Good Luck..

Say you can't make me. Make fun of her 'demands'. Throw a tantrum. Sulk. Pout. It works. Been there, done that.
