Wrestlers used to be paid by how many came 'through the gate'. In that day and still to now, it is hard to argue that no one was better than Bruno Sammartino, plus he held the belt for 12 years (one time for 8 years).

In the early 80's, Bob Backlund couldn't talk but could wrestle and held the tiltle for a 3 year span before Iron Sheik won on the 'towel' match. Oddly, Hogan beat Sheik a month later.

For what Hogan did to take wrestling to the next level, he should be recognized. Because of him, there were cartoons, action figures plus he was in movies.

In the late 90's to early 00's, do you smell...Dwayne Johnson. The Rock was such a great talent; it's too bad he chose the movie career over wrestling but his character, catch phrases were the best, probably, of all time.

Shawn Michaels because he is (...) hot. Not only that, he is also very talented and he has got skills. He is one of the best wrestlers a sports entertainment business can actually get. His acting skills are almost perfect and he has a gimmick that you can only love and not hate. He is the best ever!

Have a nice day!

Well, The Undertaker.

Everyone knows that! That's the main reason, second he beaten the most number of wrestlers ... he rarely lost if not for disqualifications.

Hulk Hogan. He's the Inmortal, a great inspiration to many, an excellent father and even though he's 50-something he still looks like he's in the 80's and had managed to keep the fans atention and apreciation for many generations and decades,.

I feel that Ric Flair is the best,He's wresteled everywhere and everyone for over 4 decades. That alone is awsome.Throw in that he's been CHAMP in the NWA when the NWA was a powerhouse, the names of the legands he's beaten(Hogan,Race,Bokwinkle,Graham,Mascaras,HHH,Brisco,Funk,ect...)and still he remains active.Well to me he IS the greatest wrestler of all time.Boxing has Ali,wrestling has Flair..
