Is it weird that as a bisexual my hero has always been the 50's tv tpe housewife. I so want to be that. Isn't that different..:) I love all things 50's though..

Is it strange that my ideal is kind of the opposite of my reality. I want to be a housewife baking cookies for the kids and wearing pretty dresses and heels having friends over for tea..And dinner parties..PTA meetings, etc..

I am definitely a girlie girl...Pink and dresses and heels and MAKEUP.I love makeup!:) The SHinier and more sparkly the better

yeah but you know those 50s housewife types were really actors in a male dominated field - so they were both very feminine yet masculine at the same time - so they would seem to me to be a logical choice of hero for you - i bet you dig goldie hawn in private benjamin too

It seems like your reality is only temporary or that you're not able to show what type of style you like. I love the 50's, I mean James Dean is the one who made the boys from 90210. Women in the 50s were more classier than the women today...and the style was just so original and hot....

Not at all, I love all things retro. Being Bi My self I love the 50s but they say I am a girly girl.

Naw,why would that be weird?LOL,if you grew up in that era,then that's what you saw as the "ideal" of marraige and family. I'm like that too,and also bi. When I'm with someone I cook,clean,do all that,but they've got to help,I don't want to do all of it,unless someone's supporting me,then I will,lol.
