World of Warcraft logging in for the first time help!?

I AM PISSED!!!
I keep trying to log on for the first time and it keeps making me download the same paTch over and over again! I just want to play the game, i already downloaded the patch 100 times.
what do i need to do or what am I not doing?!

if its the blizzard updater your talking about, you have to keep doing it. i think it took me 5 or 6 times, i know its annoying. just keep working at it, and soon enough you'll be able to play

Heres the deal with the patches.

They dont stack all patches on top of one another. So you go through patch 1.1 first, 1.2 seconds (these are the actual patch #'s, i'm just using it to be more practical) until you get to the version we are at now. If it is the same size patch every time, the you might have to attempt the Zip version, as it is an issue with the downloader.

If all else fails, ask a tech support person on the tech boards, but good luck if it gets to that as they are often slow in responce.

Yea, like the before answers said, ure just gunna have to do it over and over again, and continue to wait until it ends....

It might not be the same patch over and over, each one will have different stuff.

When i bought the game i had to download like 10 patches, literally.... it took me 13 hours total (lol), but i have a pretty slow computer plus it has a firewall....

just keep downloading and it should end soon

For some reason you are not getting all of the patch when you log in, either due to firewall or dialup isp. You will have to try again and again to get it, or go to a website that has the patch available in zip format and download and install thtat.
