Save! all the above truth "due to Einstein's constraint on the speed of material particles attaining the velocity of light".

But, a charged particle, while traveling through the ionosphere can momentarily acquire speed greater than speed of light.

It is because Einstein's constraint is true for vacuum and beam of light. But in Ionosphere, the complex refractive index (Mew) of the medium does the trick.

You should have added such rider in the statement for others to be truer than me. Now, honestly, give me "the best answer" marks because otherwise it would have been all well known!

The special theory of relativity has been tested and proven many times to a high degree of accuracy. The GPS system used for navigation uses that theory to correct for the speed of the satellite. That theory predicts mass increase with increasing relative velocity. That has been actually measured. Finally, the theory states that it would take an infinite amount of energy to accelerate any physical object to light speed, so that is why no-one can travel as fast as (let alone faster than) light.

Einstein's theory of special relativity says that objects gain mass as they speed up, and that speeding up requires energy. The more mass, the more energy is required.

By the time an object reached the speed of light, its mass would be infinite, and so would the amount of energy required to increase its speed. To go beyond the infinite is impossible.

Einsteins theory is that as mass, such as a person, approaches the speed of light their mass would become infinite. That would mean that your 100 pound girl friend would weigh more than the earth, or the universe. This is ONLY a theory, it has yet to be proven. Einsteins theories have come into question in some areas of science.

e=mc^2..in order to travel in the speed of light, you must have an infinite source of energy!where the hell will you get that?!

so long as we rely on the chemical boosters that all the space agencies seem to we will go nowhere , not much further than the moon anyway .
This reaction is at least one thousand years old , invented by the Chinese , the only thing that has changed is the chemical .

Because we haven't gotten past the internal combustion engine yet.
