I had sex for the first time since I got pregnant yesterday. The baby has moved less today but the kick count is still good. Mainly it just seemed like he stopped bumping around for the whole morning/afternoon, but now he is active again. Is this normal? If I have sex again, will he have less movement again? Is it okay to keep having sex?

Yes this is very normal. Some days you'll feel him/her move alot more that others. It is fine to have sex while pregnant >>> hell they even tell you to have sex on ur due date as the orgasm can start the labour! I have been having sex since i found out and everything is very normal. If you have had a few miscarriages (one is ok) then they would ask that you stopped having sex and if you are having a bad pregnancy OR any problems are found then again they will ask you to stop. Putting this aside >> if you're having a normal pregnancy then its fine and sperm is healthy! So go for it girl and dont worry!

Its normal. I work as an ultrasound tech and many new mothers have this same concern. Babies can have moments that they are not moving and sometimes when they move alot. Some people feel movements early on and others not until later on in the pregnancy. Every baby is different. Also stay away caffeine and smoking. They baby may be moving the same amount during the day but you may only feel it when you are not active. That's why alot of people feel movement when they are trying to sleep. You just notice it more. If you have concerns you can talk to your ob/gyn. Follow your gut!

Sounds pretty normal so long as the movements have returned to a good kick count. It is perfectly safe to have sex during pregnancy but please check with a professional as people here generally only speak from experience. As the space for your baby to move around in is getting smaller from about now, you will notice less movement as well as quiet periods. Always have it checked out though as these little people are to precious to ignore.
